I Support FairTax
Fellow Arkansas FairTax supporters,
Did your congressman get your call? It’s not too late . . . there’s still time.
Do you think that your phone call or your letter doesn’t matter? The truth of the matter is your congressman probably won’t support the FairTax unless he knows you support the FairTax. Your phone calls and letters can truly make the difference in a member of Congress being willing to support the FairTax plan.
Pick up the phone and call our U.S. Representatives & Senators (including Rep. Tim Griffin and Senator John Boozman). Tell them why you support the FairTax plan. Tell them your vote and continued support depends on their willingness to support the FairTax. Tell them they can learn more about the FairTax here.
In addition to contacting individual members of Congress, The House Ways and Means committee is holding hearings now on comprehensive tax reform.
Committee Chairman, Dave Camp, has created 11 Tax Reform Working Groups. Arkansas’ Tim Griffin, 2nd district Representative, is serving on the Energy Working Group. The Working Groups accepted public comments through Monday, April 15, 2013 (Tax Day).
Would you please send an email to Representative Griffin and the Energy Working Group in support of The FairTax? (TIME FOR SUBMITTING COMMENTS HAS PASSED.)
All comments must be submitted as Microsoft Word documents as follows:
1. Email comments to firstname.lastname@example.org.
2. In the subject line of the email, please indicate “Comments: Energy Tax Reform Working Group”
3. In the body of the email include your contact name, physical address, phone number and email address.
4. Attach your Word document.
I support the FairTax.
