A Game Changer:
What Free Press?
It took only a few days in the sunshine –the FCC has decided to drop the idea of sending “monitors” into newsrooms to oversee our free press. Once the story broke on a national level last week, the FCC changed its mind about this blatant infringement on free press. That is very good news, but…....

That is very good news, but…. we must keep a vigilant watch on the FCC. We all know they will just try another way to accomplish their goals, and they will be even more determined to stay under the radar when they do so.
News organizations often disagree about what Americans need to know.
MSNBC, for example, apparently believes that traffic in Fort Lee, N.J., is the crisis of our time. Fox News, on the other hand, chooses to cover the September 2012 attacks on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi more heavily than other networks.

Folks, the danger here is so self-evident we are speechless with disbelief. A free press is only the latest piece of the Bill of Rights that’s been totally shredded as this Obama Administration continues to steadily go about “fundamentally transforming” our country into something none of us recognize!
Every broadcast station (radio, tv, all of them) must renew its license every 8 years, and that renewal period is coming up. Is it really such a stretch — given all that’s happened so far under Obama — to think the FCC wouldn’t use this “study information” to punish those broadcasters that do not follow their idea of what people need to see and hear?
Contact your Representatives and Senators NOW — let them know you expect them to stop this infringement on our free press!
