epa-land-grabWhile our Legislature wrapped up another Special Session shoring up the dying-on-the-vine state teachers health insurance plan (and other issues), Senator Missy Irvin appeared on Wednesday’s Dave Elswick show to discuss EPA’s land grab surrounding the Neosho mucket and Rabbitsfoot mussel — it’s in process NOW, and will cost Arkansas $3 billion (yes, that’s a B) in lost revenues and tourism.

This “environmental ruling” affecting 42% of the state (90% of that is private property) could shut down our tourist industry; it could cost Arkansas a half-million jobs!

Can Arkansas afford t?  EPA’s sweetheart lawsuits mean that 42 other species are in line after this one.  Arkansas simply cannot afford EVEN ONE — these rulings decimate our state’s economic engine!

Read up on this issue, tell everyone you know (especially landowners and farmers), and write your state and U.S. elected officials!

ARKANSAS MUST STOP THIS LAND GRAB!
