JP9 Chris Bills: Party Inequities in the Quorum Court

JP Chris Bills, the incumbent Republican Justice of the Peace for District 9, spoke recently to the Faulkner County TEA Party, where he corrected misconceptions about the Quorum Court and pointed out party inequities in the administration of the business of Faulkner County.  Bills is running for re-election to the District 9 seat this November....

We have allowed the County Judge to usurp the authority of the Quorum Court,” Bills said.

Bills points out that Republican JPs, even though holding a majority on the Quorum Court, are not appointed to working committee chair positions, and sitting Democrat County Judges have ignored requests for legislation to correct these discrepancies, as well as other party related inequities:
