Secret “Net Neutrality” Plan Isn’t Neutral

net-neutralityOnce again the Obama Administration turns English upside-down, using legislative titles that mean exactly the opposite of the underlying bill.  Obama’s so-called “Net Neutrality” legislation would allow Internet providers to set up fast pay-to-play lanes, leaving those who don’t or can’t pay with slower service — twisting “neutrality” to mean just the opposite.

GOP Senators Mike Lee, Ben Sasse, and Rand Paul are loudly opposing the plan.  Lee called it a government “takeover,” amounting to “a massive tax increase on the middle class, being passed in the dead of night without the American public really being made aware of what is going on.”

Meanwhile, our Senators John Boozman and Tom Cotton have yet to take a stand, and now the FCC is citing Title II as its basis for making the Internet into a regulated utility.

The FCC votes on the 332-page plan on February 26, but the public hasn’t been allowed to review the plan beforehand.  What is the FCC hiding?
