The economy expanded at a meager annual pace of 0.2 percent during the first three months of the year.  Consumer spending growth fell to just 1.9 percent during the first quarter, down sharply from 4.4 percent in the previous quarter….consumer spending has failed to rise to a level to propel stronger economic growth.

We ask again.  Just how wise is Conway to stake our entire economic future on sales taxes from two as-yet-unbuilt shopping centers?
