neo-nativismIn news reports about the refugee situation you’ll see “neo-nativism” over and over again — it’s the Progressive Left’s latest slur against conservatives who believe in safety first for our own citizens when dealing with Syrian refugees coming into our communities.

This new world order of importing mass immigrants from third world countries in the last 30 years is not even close to the kind of immigrants we had in the past and can’t compare with any tradition of immigration we’ve seen.

We mourn for the death of our familiar communities as we struggle to find commonality with our neighbors.

We can’t help but wonder, what if nativists like him are right? What’s America if she’s not worth protecting and fighting for?
