On Facebook yesterday, Mary Kate Collins Pollreis revealed an interesting fact about the Arkansas Supreme Court race when she pointed out the political donations John Goodson (husband of Supreme Court Position 1 candidate Courtney Goodson) has made to Barack Obama. She found the data on OpenSecrets.org run by the Center for Responsive Politics.

We found the following information about political donations from our Supreme Court and Court of Appeals candidates on OpenSecrets.org. We hope this helps you determine who gets your vote.

Position 1: Mary Kate Collins Pollreis’ post showed donations by John Goodson; no donations are listed in Courtney Goodson’s name. A search for Dan Kemp shows no records found under “Dan Kemp,” “John Dan Kemp,” or “Susan Kemp” (his wife).

Position 5: Shawn Womack has one 2015 donation of $250 to the Republican Party of Arkansas. A search for Clark Mason reveals a laundry list of donations to Democrats (from Blanche Lincoln to Mark Pryor to the Democratic Party of Arkansas) stretching as far back as 2003.

COURT OF APPEALS

hilandDistrict 2, Position 2: Cody Hiland donated $3,500 to the Republican Party of Arkansas in 2010, and $250 to Republican Tom Cotton in 2013.
