Only 2 contested races for Arkansas Legislature remain for the November 8, 2016 General Election in Faulkner County: House District 44 and House District 72.

HOUSE DISTRICT 44
Republican: Joe Farrer (Incumbent) 81.74%
Libertarian: Garry Baker 18.26%

HOUSE DISTRICT 72
Democrat: Steve Magie (Incumbent) 59.91%
Republican: Shannon Taylor 40.09%

Republican incumbents in Senate District 29 and House District 66 fought off Republican primary challengers in the March 1 Preferential Primary to retain their positions. Republican incumbent Representatives Doug House, Stephen Meeks, and David Meeks have no opponents in November. Following are Faulkner County’s Arkansas Senate and House incumbents as of 2016:
